Just chilling in there. Very snug. I have some Velcro straps if it moves. Still kinda testing my desired location.Nice…fits better than I thought. Did you bolt it down or is it just sitting there ?

That was my first though as I can lock the seats back. This was more of a first run test. It would fit behind the seats but seeing as I didn’t opt for alpine I don’t have the mounting there so id need to figure out a way to mount it.Did you try to fit the unit behind the seat back? That thing looks very small...
While yes you are correct, an issue I see a lot of people do is put 250w rms speakers in a factory 15w spot with no amplification. They are going to have a bad time, sensitivity is irrelevant at that point because your never gonna put out enough power to move that cone.Power RATING has very little to do with how loud a speaker is at a given power level.
Sensitivity is the specification you need to watch.

If the sensitivity spec. is the same for both speakers, they’ll reproduce the same loudness at any given power. The higher power rating simply means the speaker can handle more power.… an issue I see a lot of people do is put 250w rms speakers in a factory 15w spot with no amplification. Same I have mine sitting under the back of the drivers seat but not sure where the final location will be yet as I may want to go larger. I got the sound ordnance 8" from Crutchfield. Where did you end up grounding it?Just chilling in there. Very snug. I have some Velcro straps if it moves. Still kinda testing my desired location.
I'm still waiting for my email to order the Terra Accoustic speakers. Are they really worth $200+? or would the dart replacements be just as good.I did the Terra acoustics in the dash and added a kicker powered sub in the rear behind the seat. It made a nice improvement on the low and top end. Sound is still a bit thin in the middle and may do a sound bar upgrade with some additional Kicker speakers as others have done but for now I'm good.
Also you’re never gonna find the sensitivity spec on an OEM speaker. We only know the power rating and resistance because they where kind enough to put it on the magnet. And even if you had matching sensitivity rating, you will be using still a very small portion of the speakers throw. If the speaker handles 250 rms, 15 w will never move that speaker conpletly. While yes sensitivity is a measurement spec. Physics are physics and you can’t have a speaker that moves the same amount of air at 2 different power levelsIf the sensitivity spec. is the same for both speakers, they’ll reproduce the same loudness at any given power. The higher power rating simply means the speaker can handle more power.
That being said, it’s not uncommon for higher power rated speakers to have lower sensitivity ratings.
You’ve got to look at ALL the specifications.

I could not find a working ground for the life of me. People said the seat bolts worked but for some reason did not for me. I used the ground point behind the kick panel on the rear passenger. i used the stud that holds the factory plastic bin. i sanded down the paint and the back of the nut, good ground for me. I actually did this in two separate JT's and no issues.I could not find a working ground for the life of me. People said the seat bolts worked but for some reason did not for me. This was driving me up a wall. I knew the bolt had to be coated with something. There a good ground nearby so I wasn’t too mad but it did take me too long to figure this out loli used the stud that holds the factory plastic bin. i sanded down the paint and the back of the nut, good ground for me. Here is mine mounted behind the rear seat, plenty of room. Other side is an ARB Dual compressor. That was my first though as I can lock the seats back. This was more of a first run test. Did you just drill in with screws? Here is mine mounted behind the rear seat, plenty of room. Other side is an ARB Dual compressor.
