Thanks for the link...Fill me in on what you are running right now, seems like there was a bit of experimentation going on in the thread
No changes, still Infinity Kappa 62ix 6.5" speakers in the sound bar and JL Audio C1-075ct tweeters in the upper dash with factory speakers in the lower dash. Still sounds great with good frequency reproduction and good seperation.

I have the MOPAR Dart speakers from Amazon arriving today.
Hope it clears up the muddy sound from the dash and the speaker bar.

Be careful if you go to buy these. There is also a set marked for JEEP that are more per pair and they're the same speaker.

I have changed everything except the head unit, pods in the dash with 6.5 Infinity, plate adapters in the sound bar with 6.5 Infinity as well. Made brackets for the dash and put Rockford tweets, built a behind the seat box with a JL 10tw3. All JL amps, don't remember what I used to get the RCA out, it plugs into the stereo like the pedal commander would and I retained all of my cross path and reverse beeps and Bluetooth functions as well front, rear and sw rca's.

Under back seat installed a kicker HS10 hideaway.

The amp was a pita getting grounded for some reason.
This system seriously booms now. About $500 in stereo upgrades. Night and day difference from before.
Do you have a pic of the sub install ?

Replacing the knee speakers without an amp or head unit upgrade I have noticed a reduced volume. The loudest I would go before the upgrade is 20, now I'll crank it up to 22 (sport s 5" radio) for the same volume level.

As far as difference in sound quality I do notice one. Clearer highs and better bass. Exactly how much better is hard to say, played drums for 20 years in rock and metal bands and am missing a lot of high end register slowly going deaf, but I do hear a definite improvement.

I think it would have been more noticeable improvement if I had done the soundbar to begin.
Sound like you might have put in too power hungry speakers. The OEM ones are 15w RMS at 8ohms. So anything much beyond 50w rms at 4ohm your gonna loose volume for sure

Power RATING has very little to do with how loud a speaker is at a given power level.
Sensitivity is the specification you need to watch.
