My S20 Ultra will not charge via any of the USB ports.

Ended up having to go with a cigarette lighter fast charger. Sucks when I want to use Android Auto.

Kinda wish JT had a always on cigarette lighter....my JK had two ports....one was switched the other was always on.
It should charge, mine does via the one in the center console I use for android auto. It just does not charge fast. more on par with the normal wireless charging speeds.

When I try to charge via USB port....after a few minutes it gives notifications that phone is draining faster than it can charge or something to that effect. Nothing crazy running on the phone...only happens with the USB ports in the JT.

That is very strange. Never once got that on my ultra. Is that with all ports?

Have you tried a new cable? I have a Samsung phone and the JT does not respond well with with some cables.

This is the cable that has worked best for me, so far.

Yeah ... My pixel phone on my 2026 Gladiator is very temperamental. Sometimes it charges, other times it says that it is connected but not charging, and it rarely ever fast charges ... I'm kind of frustrated at the fact that if I want consistent charging (not fast), I have to use an adapter in my 12 volt plug. I don't even know what the point is of the media "charging" ports of they don't actually charge.

I have a pixel 7, my wife has a Samsung Flip 4 and both charge just fine any time they are plugged in, but then I buy high-end cables............
Never have had a problem other than the fact they charge at the low rate compared to modern charging methods.
