As the title states I’m looking for where to run the ground wire for my Kenwood TM-V71A mobile HAM radio.

I’m thinking of installing the unit under the passenger seat like Brad did in his Trail Recon Utube channel and connecting the hot wire to one of the aux switches but I don’t know where to find a ground.

Anyone have an idea of where I could find one near the passenger seat?

Thanks!

I've been pulling ground wires straight back to the battery so far.

There should be a ground post on both the driver and passenger side kick panels. Look just ahead of where the door harness connects.
