drivers side, when i swing the visor over to the side window the "plug" that it is supposed to pivot on is popping out.
with the plug out, if i do swing the visor to shade the side window it wont plug back into it's housing.

anyone else have this issue? i've got just over 6k on the jeep.

There has been one other post about the visor needing to be replaced because it broke at the mount point.

I've been worried about that as when I swing it over to the side and extend it out, wow, it REALLY bounces with each little bump or change in the road. I've seen visors of the past bust at their mount/pivot point on many vehicles because of that stress.
The JT visor really bounces badly in that position. I try to not use it much.

rvillano, that's it.
when i got home tonight i went out to take some pics and the visor came out like that. prior it hadnt come out far enough to expose the wires, tonight it did. i pulled the mount off that holds the visor and saw the other half of the plug.

poor, poor design. again, when i pay this much for a vehicle i dont expect this type of failure this soon. i've got over 100k on my LJ and the visor is still going strong.
