Naw, tennis matches are boring. How about WWF wrestling?
my wife asked why I am always on this forum, I told her because I have a gladiator and mainly it’s because it’s a source of entertain for me. She looked at me like I was crazy, then a showed her a similar thread, and she said that’s like why I watch those “house wife” shows. I said... exactly!

the cool part is that unlike those house wife shows, I can participate in the action from time to time when I choose to, lol.

this alone should help the OP with her claim. It basicallysays go play in the mud with your jeep.
It actually quite literally says the opposite at the five second mark on the screen. Read the small print at the bottom of the commercial.

As a retailer of high end powered goods, let me drop my 2 cents.
None of us know just what happened to that truck, how it got to the point it found itself at, or what exactly was the diagnosis that was used to arrive at the decision.

From my experience, even the end user cannot, many times, be trusted to give the whole story. Especially when they are hopeful to get warranty to cover something that the actual warranty may be considered abusive.

Jeep has skin in the game here. They build a vehicle that is designed for a specific purpose. But Jeep also cannot be expected to foot the bill if the use of their product exceeds the parameters that it considers normal wear and tear, even under fairly extreme conditions.

From what I see of the pics, and having owned nearly 30 Jeeps, I can see how both sides have a claim. But, if that Jeep got that muddy because it was run through mud holes at 60 MPH, bumping the rev limiter, and backwards...…..

STOP BEING RATIONAL! There is no place for that crap here. We are reading a passionate argument (internet word fight), and nothing can stop that now but a moderator!

All good; I'm not really offended. I know @Ole Cowboy wasn't directing his comment at me.

But since I'm Canadian:

Red Green:
Well, I'm not gonna be calling the U.S. Air Force, Harold. What do I say? We've got a missile? They take that as a threat, we're in real trouble.

Harold Green:
Well, then, contact the Canadian Air Force.

Red Green:
Harold, it's after six; he's gone home.

I would have washed and detailed the truck before brining it in. What you had towed to the dealer looked like it was dredged out a swamp and I'm sure that was an excuse not to cover it. I also wouldn't have gone into details of "plowing through the mud". (I know at this point doesn't help you but I thought may help others in the future). Just a thought...

Recently we viewed an ad on TV w/ two Subaru meeting in a very muddy area & so they began their spinning around dance w/ flying mud to best display why so many need to go out right now for a test drive, etc.

Look Out Jeep, that muddy little thing that just passed while you were tip toeing through your last daring 3 inch adventure costs a lot less than you might expect.

POINT HERE
Ads sell everything so let's use common collective thinking, by just asking

A warranty is a guarantee from the company that sells a product to replace or repair said product in instances where the it is not functioning as described or intended to. There is usually a time period or use limit for the warranty based on normal wear and tear. That being said, the vehicle had issues only after being taken through a bunch of mud (maybe it would have, but no way to prove that now). Referencing the short time period since ownership only helps the dealerships case as the failures happening to the vehicle are extremely fast and would not constitute normal wear and tear, this vehicle would be an outlier in a study. So what was the main contributing factor? Mud. The damage was done while using the vehicle as not intended by the manufacturer…. I know… I know…, bear with me. We’ve all seen the video of the guy jumping the raptor. Would those damages be covered under warranty. If I went out tomorrow and drove my jeep off a 8 foot drop and broke the frame, would that be covered? I mean the frame should be able to handle that drop right? So give me a new one! I know the mud is not as exciting as the raptor jump, but the damage was pretty extensive. I hate stealerships too, we all do, but being rational and really looking at what a warranty is intended for and covers makes the dealerships case look pretty easy. I ain’t passed the bar, but I know a little bit, enough that you won’t illegally search my $hiF. Ok rant complete. Note to self: don’t post after taking your sleep medicine…
