My voltage out of nowhere started showing up and is just below mid point, like 13. Does that cluster gauge show up if the batteries are starting to get low? It happened right after I was sitting in the car with music playing while off. I want to make sure I don't get stranded and be proactive if possible and buy some batteries or perhaps warranty. I'm at around 11k.

It showed up twice after driving away.

If you change the gauge cluster, will it return?

If your voltage is at roughly 13, that means little charging is occurring, which you batteries have plenty of juice, when it’s in that 14-14.3 range that means it’s really recharging the battery

Mine sits around 12.6-12.8 alot. I think it cuts the alternator off to improve engine efficiency. If it gets below that it kicks on goes up to 14+

I also noticed that the locking beep was a little weaker than usual, but i've seen that before.

Are you still on the original batteries? I wonder what the projected life of these are.
Life is about 3 months. On my 2020 i got new batteries around 8k miles. The ESS stopped working.

On my 2022 the running voltage is allover the place.

I might be overdue, here in Florida we go through batteries fairly quickly.
Ive been looking at those solar hood panels for mine to keep them topped up.

Pulling up this old thread. My truck is starting very sickly like. Sounds like the battery is low. While driving it is showing 14 to 14.3 volts. Only other weird electrical issue is that my clock resets itself while truck is sitting and off. I have a 2021 Willys with the single battery. Plan on swapping batteries this weekend thinking that is the issue. Or does anyone thing I should be testing the charging system or maybe starter before swapping batteries? The battery is 4 years old now so likely due for one anyway.

Test the battery to be sure, but likely it is the culprit. Don't hear much about the charging system failing. I replaced both batteries last summer, 3 years of service.

Don't guess, or expect an accurate answer with no information or testing.

Use a volt meter - even one from Walmart - and check the battery voltage while the truck is off and just sitting there..

If the Jeep is always showing numbers over 14 while driving - it's likely trying to charge a low battery - which can mean two things:
Battery is actually failing
or
You don't drive it often enough, long enough, to keep it charged. The charging system is actually for topping off a battery after you start it and handling the electric load of the vehicle, not as a battery charger.

Yes, with that age, likely a battery issue, but is it bad, or just needing to be fully charged up and checked, unknown for sure.
4 years is decent time on a Jeep battery, especially if you've been operating on just the one whic means slightly lower capacity to handle the parasitic loads while it just sits there in the driveway or garage.

Went ahead and just bought a new battery this evening and installed it. Old battery tested bad. Put it on a charger and charged it fully showing good but almost to the bad end of things. With the new battery she fired right up and all seems back to normal. At least I won't worry about getting stranded somewhere now. Worth the money spent!
