First week of tear down of the Jeep is in the books, now's the hard sit and wait -

I've also dialed up a new hobby and I'm teaching myself how to work the 3D scanner and printer I've bought. I've got a couple custom ideas I'd like to try out to go with the cage.

I was thinking Switch Panel and a new back wall to replace the plastic, but you aren't wrong about this....

Updates from the last month - Cage is finished and went off to Powder Coat a couple weeks ago, it actually is coming back tomorrow from Powder Coat. Engine ships Friday, Fuel Cell is in house and all we are waiting on is the new long arm kit.

In the meantime, I've painted my rear seat delete -

Got my PRP Seats and Harnesses -

They actually messed up this first version of the seat, stitching was supposed to be all silver. So rush fix is on the way.

3D printed and setup an Auxillary power supply for the rear seat delete area that will connect to my Genesis kit -

Made a Hub lock/unlock Tool, at the request of a friend with some CAD software and my 3D printer -

Some other odds and ends I've printed -
Hat racks and an EDC tray -

Go-Pro Mount for the Cage -

Simple Headset Hook to Mount on the cage -

An AR wall mount (Mag well sits on the front part and locks into place with the mag release catch, so can mount the AR vertically or horizontally) -

The start of my switch panel housing, which will also mount to the cage, this fits the switch panel perfectly, I just need to add the back of the housing where it connects to the cage and maybe do some rounding and smoothing on the edges, I like what Motobilt did for the Rowdy JT, but I didn't want to spend Switch Pros $$$ for what is really a very basic switch panel. -

Ripping out the OEM seats probably saved you more pounds than the cage that's in it now.
Heck of a job there. So how beat was the stock axles.

Stock axles were in great condition, I had installed e-lockers in both, fresh 5.13 gears that had maybe 10k miles on them before I went to tons. I sold them to the GM of the shop for his wife's Jeep for $3K.

I will have a lightly used 3.6L for sale soon w/transmission, approximately 55K miles on the unit, no known issues with the engine (as of when I last drove it).

Will also have most of a 4.5" RockKrawler Adventure Pro-X lift w/shocks available soon. Approximately 1 year old, 20k miles on it. Will be missing rear bump stops and Rear 4 link mount.

GenRight said that about the cage with the V on my LJ too. The mirror did in fact go back in. Just couldn’t move it in any way that it could actually be used.

I was literally thinking about your truck the other night wondering how far along the heavy workload had gotten.

Looks like with no Jeep at the house you have gotten pretty good at using that new 3D printer!!!
