Water Drop On My Leg

Drove my 2025 Jeep Gladiator on a 4 1/2 hour trip this morning. I had my a/c on the entire trip. Went through brief rain shower. With about 30 minutes left on my trip I had water dripping on my leg periodically. Any ideas on what caused this?

Listed location is Louisiana, so I'd guess you had high humidity during that 4 1/2 hr trip. Considering that and the use of a/c the entire time, I'd say you may have had some condensation on the outside of the cold HVAC ducting that dripped on you.... or you have a water leak from the rain. Without further inspection to try to find exactly where the water dripped from though, any guess is as good as the next.

It was on my left leg.

My tops have not been off in a month.


I figure it was condensation or from the rain. I was just curious if anyone else has experienced it. I will see if it happens tomorrow on my drive home or if I can duplicate it by spraying water on it.

I would take the freedom tops off, wipe down the seals and then reinstall. I've owned a CJ5, a YJ, a TJ, and currently own a JK and JT. All have had some sort of water intrusion. Whether from the top, door seals, back window seal... at some point it just becomes a Jeep thing.

It was on my left leg.
