Weather Updates, my wife has a check box to turn them off, I do not

So like everyone else, I hate the weather updates popup that keeps coming up on my screen. My wife has a checkbox in her 2022 JLU to turn them off, I do not have a checkbook in my 2020 Gladiator.
Does anyone else have a checkbook like my wife?

Update: The software update fixed this, I now have the checkbox to turn off the annoying weather notifications!

I am thinking it is the software version on the radio. Unfortunately I can't figure out a way to tell what version is on either radio..

From my research if you have the newest version of the software version on the radio you can turn it off, like in my wife's JLU. All the other TraficLink stuff works on hers, but she doesn't get those annoying popups..

I ordered the GPS map update. It comes with the updated radio software. So once I installed that I will see if I get that checkbox to turn those notifications off like my wife's jeep

I searched Google for Uconmect map update. Went to the website and bought it for $149, with 2 day shipping and tax it was $169. They are sending a usb stick with the software update. Then I believe it will ota uodate the maps. I guess I will find out later this week when the usb stick gets here..

I did mine last year, you will get 2 USB sticks. The first is the software update, which you do first. The second is the maps, and those take 45-60 minutes to do.

Mostly visual difference, like it updated some of the icons and such. There are also some features like how the different volumes for the radio/navigation/etc work.
