Sound like a bunch of people didn't do their due diligence before buying......so not really a loss for the masses.

Kinda like, boo hoo, I didn't know how to pull out and now I have to pay child support for 15 second of fun. Grow up, bow out or ride out like you came in......no one gaf

I didn't do my due diligence. I never drove a Gladiator or sat in one for that matter. We purchased the truck sight unseen. Well, the dealer let us look at it before we signed the paperwork. After we signed the paperwork, I drove it 4 hours back home.

I didn't see making the sight unseen purchase being a risk. Afterall, it was a Jeep truck, which I've always wanted. As a bonus, it had a diesel engine. I was actually surprised how smooth it rode on the way back home. I told my wife that it would be comfortable enough for a long road trip. The fuel economy is exceptional. The noise level was as good as I had hoped for. Overall, the Jeep exceeded by expectations in pretty much every category. I can't think of any complaints. It's not a daily driver for us, but we are glad to have it since we own property in the mountains and have to deal with inclement weather. I doubt that we'll put more than 5,000 miles per year on the Jeep, but we are super happy and plan to keep it for the next 25 years.

What’s work?
There’s a lot of people in the same boat. Problem is that I absolutely HATE my JT but love it at the same time. I tried trading a few time but between me dumping so much money into it and Jeep trade values tanking I’m pretty much married to it at this point. So I’ll just throw some more money at it and wait for Jeep to pull their heads from their asses and put a more powerful motor in them. That or wait until the kinks are worked out in the new Tacomas. 😉
I’m not sure what everybody's boat is really, didn’t sell it because I hated it, quite the opposite. It was just dead weight and I’m trying to scuttle as much debt as I can right now. When I’m working as field tech my daily driver is a Freightliner M2-106 with a 12 foot service body and 14K crane, generally log anywhere from 600 to 1200 miles a week in it. Most days just take it home until the weekend, by then I can’t stand looking at it anymore. So you see no use and less debt intersected with the JT and it became expendable. Neat part is though it didn’t go far….my brother in law bought it, it’s his wife’s ride now. So I still see it a lot.

She does want to put an angry grill on it…….dear god
