Yesterday. So several months and just over 11,000 miles ago, I installed Ripp coil packs to get a few lost horsepower back at our home altitude of 8,600’. They gave better power, but 11k after they went in, I lost a coil on cylinder 1 last week and limped home with some misfires. It happened to cylinder 2 yesterday, a solid 1,000+ miles from home. My wife ubered to a Jeep dealer 8 miles away while I tore the top of the engine apart in an O’Reilly’s parking lot. I replaced all six with new mopar coils. It took about 3 hours with kids in the back seat. Ripp approved my full refund today. I wish I’d known about how many problems these have before I installed them. Oh well. Live and learn. It’s runs perfectly again and I did another 4-500 miles with a trailer today with zero issues.
You have mad skills. Great repair job on the fly.

Killer Parking lot save!!!!
Thanks. I had old mopar coils with me, but since there was a dealer near enough, I decided I wasn’t pulling that out brake again. While I was under the intake I replaced the leaking oils control solenoid seal on the driver side. I’ll do the passenger side another day. I only had one with me.

It would have been horrible if I’d never pulled the intake before. I suspected a misfire, and my scanner confirmed it. My wife and kids were VERY patient and helpful.

You give me too much credit. It’s a bad job the first time. The second time it’s not bad. If it would have been bad weather, it would have been impossible. I was lucky with sun and low wind.

I didn't think I had a problem with the stock length turn signal lever, but I thought I would try this one inch extension. The price was right- free. Wow! Now, I can flip the lever with confidence and authority. It totally restored my self esteem. I no longer feel inadequate by having to reach for the lever. Sometimes, I just want to flip the lever left or right and even flip the high beams just because I can. It totally solved a problem I didn't know I had.

Swapped out the dash speakers for the Infinities. Hard to believe it is that big of a difference but it is immediately noticeable.

Did the same thing. Was surprised by the difference. After a few weeks I also did the sound bar but went 6.5" there. Definitely sounds better.

No I don't. I have seen all the work you have done and you have skills for sure. You do things I would be afraid to try. I love working on vehicles but not sure I could pull off some of the things you do. Glad the weather and family cooperated. That makes a HUGE difference. Glad you were able to resolve the issue and not get stranded.

I was very glad to get back moving in only three hours. I estimated 5 for my wife and she asked why it only was taking three. I said I estimated based on her math of me. Everthing I claim takes close to twice as long.

Nothing I do is that complicated. Tools help a lot. You’d be surprised at what you could do. I have confidence you’d succeed at anything you attempt. Like me, sometimes it would take two or three tries.

Appreciate the confidence. It would probably take 2 or 3 times and twice as long. :)

It’s got to be a real show stopper with a short lever…

Haha, yeah. I can see how this could benefit those with phyisical needs. Otherwise, for most, it wouldn't make much of a difference.
