Time and time again has proven the Ripp Coils are hot trash.Snake Oil
Yep. They do increase power a little, but aren’t worth the reliability problems. If I’d have known before I wouldn’t have done it.

Finished installing the new power steering pump and steering gear.
I learned that a pitman arm requires a torch and a big hammer to remove as pullers just dont work as well.
Put my airbox and intercooler tubes back.
Hydro ram is waiting on some parts as well as a new tie rod and drag link.
My current tie rod somehow make occasional contact with my diff cover.
Will get everything done in a week or so after vacation.

I'm not judging. And you should totally be proud of your tags. But how does your passenger feel about turning the airbag into a claymore? Not sure they want "Cougar Crossing" stamped on their forehead in a crash?

the airbag split is right where the middle one is fyi
You beat me to it. Those are going to hurt when they smack someone in the face at however many feet per second.

Any aftermarket coil is trash. This goes for any engine. Haven't heard of too many people happy with them. Seems like most last about 12 months, then start to fail after that.

Not to the gladiator, but fixed broken trailer wiring on my sister-in-law’s grand Cherokee. Working fine now. Several bad connections and a blown fuse. The fuse blew because of the bad connections.

FYI. When I went to put in my Badland 12K winch on my full width LoD bumper I ended up taking the bumper off three times to get the winch to fit without risking cutting the power wires just by driving the Jeep. While the winch would barely fit in, it left the wires pinched hard
against the bottom of the grill. As you can see, even now the fit for the wiring is really tight.

If I was smarter and not as lazy I could have switched the wires from where they're located to below the winch. For me it was much easier to just add longer bolts and install spacers to push out the bumper. You can see my spacers in the lower left corner.
I had a similar issue. I ended up drilling a hole in the winch cover to route the wires out the right side instead of the back. Later I upgraded to the 2024 grille. That provided plenty of room if I ever wanted to move the wires back to exiting the rear.

I put in the Soundskins kit in mine today. Kit is super nice compared to the non model specific stuff that you have to cut yourself. The floor was a breeze, did it myself. The doors however are a MUTHA! Especially the back doors. I hope it was worth the trouble.
