I got sick of waiting for the second Kansas badge, which is on back order. So I put the New Hampshire badge, and one of the two Kansas badges on. They’d been burning a hole in my glove box. 35 badges thus far. My goal is still to get all of them, on this Jeep. If by some miracle that actually happens, I hope lots of you are at the party when the last one goes on.

I’ve lost track of the current number. It used to be 68, but I thought they pulled a couple. I think it might be 66.

I just counted them in the app. Currently 66. 31 more to go.

Here are a few pictures from Jericho. It was raining, and so green.

Those are some gnarly badass trails there! I went off on a trail to nowhere there and had to back out over a rock garden. Got my JL so stuck that it took two other Jeeps´ winches, a snatch block, a high lift jack, and some Geometric problem solving to get it off the big rocks and free again.

I had put a thick Artec FAD skid plate on it just before the trip. A guy had strongly suggested it and I thought it was silly, since there was already a factory plate over it and it is in a place I´ve never touched in a Jeep before. Turns out I came down on a boulder right on that skid plate and that is where I was hung up! The Hi-Lift was needed to get it up and then we used the winches to pull it back and kind of pole-vault it over the rock. Anyway, the first mod I did to my JT was....you guessed it....an Artec FAD skid plate! LOL.

Great pics! I want to go up that way again some day!

Going over the JT for our trip to Denver next week. Think it needed an air filter. Only 43,000 miles on the oem one. Surprised that it didn't throw a code as sensitive as the ecu is on the diesel.

That sounds like a hell of an adventure. I added a thinker fad skid to mine as well, before I’d even scratched that spot. Glad I did. It’s been hit pretty hard a bunch of times now. Huge pain in the ass to install with bolt through Lca skids right next to it.

Ha, that’s a bummer. I’d hate to go back to parking outside, especially in the winter! River frontage, aw man. Sounds terrific.

yeah, Jericho is only like 4 hours from me. I’m actually gonna take my son there next spring with our dirt bikes to ride. We spend lots of time actually up in NH skiing, camping , etc…. also Maine. Closest we have here on the East coast to anything kinda resembling CO.
Hopefully you went thru Franconia notch on your way there. So scenic thru there.
Did someone say Franconia Notch and something about skiing...lol. Love that area. I have made about 8 trips to that area to ski over the years. Cranmore, Wildcat, Attitash/Bears Peak, Bretton Woods, Cannon, Loon and Waterville Valley. Great area to ski. Went snow mobiling in Bartlett one year and had a blast. Kinda like riding my personal watercraft on the snow. Was sad when the old man of the mountain fell off. Had the pleasure of seeing it a few times. Beautiful area and always had a blast.

I need to plan an east coast badge trip. I still need PA, SC, Georgia, NC, VA. I’ve done AL, FL, AR, on previous trips. It’s so many miles that I’d like to get all five of those states in a single trip. Tough to be gone that long with a family though.
Yeah, my wife would NOT be up for that long a road trip.

Tell Me you swung by Mt Washington too when you were here. It’s only like an hour south of Jericho.

Cool. Yep, beautiful area. The Old man falling was definitely a bummer. I remember driving past it many times as a kid heading North with my old man.

Fraconia Notch area is so beautiful. I can’t remember which exit it is on 93 heading north, but when you pass it over the hill and that valley view opens up, goodness.

We did drive over a pass that had a ton of ski areas. Is that the notch?
