Shamefully, I admit that the ARB front diff cover I just installed is purely for aesthetic purposes. OK, I guess I could argue that the dip stick will allow me to check the fluid level without draining the diff. Nah, I just like the looks.
FYI: A few of those bolts are the dickens to get to and tighten if, like me, you don’t want to disconnect the track bar.
I’ve got a Motobilt rear diff cover and a Metal Cloak rear diff skid to install tomorrow. I painted the rear cover red to match the front cover and painted the skid flat black.

My JTS didn't come with side steps or rock rails. I was lucky enough to find a take off set of rock rails from a Mojave on Marketplace and they were local. He was asking $100, but after some back & forth he said, "Give me $50 and a case of diet Dew" LOL
They are in great condition with no scuffs or scrapes. I just had to buy 8 M8-1.25x30mm bolts.
Looks so much better

Cleaned the mud and dirt from Rausch Creek out of the inside today. The inside sparkles and smells clean. Plus did an oil change, oil filter, fuel filter (diesel), grease the front track bar and lower control arms (Core 4x4 Johnny Joints), and tire rotation.

Think I'm going to get one of these for doing 37" tire rotations. 67 yrs old. 37" are getting a bit heavy now a days.

I use something very similiar to this Amazon.com: WINNTEC Rolling Wheel Dolly for Changing Car, Truck, Skid Steer, ATV, and Trailer Tires, Tire Lift for Large and Small Vehicles, 3 Roller Positions, 551 Pound Capacity : Automotive

It really works well for us old guys! It may be a bit less fiddly to use than what you are looking at.

Installed some cheapo $36 car seat covers, eventually I'll spring for the "real" ones. These should protect the seats from the little one's car treats for the time being.

Actually got them at Walmart, $36! Brand is Auto Drive.

Fitment is just OK, they have some extra cutouts so they're universal but they seem to stay in place decently. Definitely feels like a $36 set of car seats though, the elastic and black portions are pretty thin, but the saddle blanket part feels just like the ones my dad and Grandpa used to have.

I just couldn't stomach the $550 for the high quality Sheer Comfort ones right now. Someday...

Jan installed Voswitch installed. Now I have 4 more switches to work with. Love the clean factory look of this switch group. Had box mounted on top of battery ready to accept anything I want to add. One off/on switch: 4 switches for other things. All rated at 30amps

Have this in my wife’s wrangler and agree with. It’s very clean looking and works great

Nice. I have a canopy camper on order and I’m very tempted to do perhaps a 40% rear seat delete. Be a great spot to keep my tools and recovery gear and yet still have a platform on top to store all sorts of stuff.

I often have a full truckload of people when I four-wheel, which really limits what I can do in the backseat at the moment

Giving up the rear seating was why I delayed doing this for a few years. We find that it is almost always just my wife and I in our case now. There will be a few times when we would like the seats but we'll figure something out in those cases. Sounds like a 40% is a good solution in your situation.

I got one of these for rotations from HF. Man what a difference. Just roll the tire right on. no lifting with the old man back.

Oil change!!!

My gas tank skid and transfer case skid have taken some hits and slid quite a bit, good to keep an eye on them. My Rockhard 4x4 rear shock skids are still attached, they dont provide longer hardware, so the nut is just shy of full thread into the nylok. Has been a concern, but still hanging in there!
