Changed out the main battery today. Did a aux battery delete a year ago but the main battery was a carry over 700AH H7 battery I swapped from my 2021 Willys in since my 2022 Rubicon came with the smaller 650AH H6 battery. Anyways, the battery was pushing the 3 year mark and started to get some weird starts this last few weeks and while the main battery still test good, was only showing a 550-600AH capacity.

Shopped around and went cheap with a WEIZE branded H7 battery off of Amazon. Caught it on a flash sale for like $134 and with a Amazon gift card and stacking some Discovery rewards points, got it for like $45 out of pocket. Will see if the risk of being cheap pays off.

Installed the Samman dead pedal that I bought last month but didn't get around to installing until today. Some people have reported difficulty removing the nut it mounts to; while it's in an awkward location it's easy with a long extension on the socket. I altered it a bit though, I didn't like how low and far forward it was, so I added two 3/4" spacers (had 'em laying around, otherwise I would have used something else, anything, maybe a block of hardwood). This required longer screws, so I used 1/4" bolts instead of the M5 screws they supplied. I like it.

Without those spacers, that pedal would have been at a terrible position.

Yes, although for someone taller than me (I'm 5'7") it would be at a better angle in the higher hole positions, but too far away for me.

Nice - this is the 2nd recent post with these. How was the install on the RokBloks? With my wheel\tire combo this is a good idea.
With the extra thickness of the flare extension, I did make a small clearance cut on the RB flaps to let it lay flatter.
Install was pretty easy.
Now, the flares were time consuming because none of the existing holes lined up at all on my Sport S fenders. The curve was perfect to fall flush at the bottom though!

Yesterday, blew the tire off the driver front on poison spider. I’ve done the trail several times, but snow changes everything. The wheel and tire amazingly survived the event. It’s been remounted and balanced and appears to only have cosmetic scratches.

Today, Fins and Much of Hells Revenge with great friends. We got back to the parking lot just as the snow started.

The white jeep looks so much bigger than the others. I'm guessing camera angle. Did you have a crap ton of red mud stuck to your rigs when you got off the trail? When we were out there, the amount of mud we washed off our jeeps after some rain, must have been in the hundreds of pounds.

Mounted it with M8 rivnuts, but if I had to do it again, I would drill smaller holes and then cut threads into it using a tread cutting bolt. That way if you want to remove it later, you would have just four small holes that could easily be filled with black silicone or RTV gasket.

Recommended alternative steps:

1) Place jerry can holder on truck bed so that the mounting holes are sitting over the raised ribs.
2) Mark and center punch the hole locations.
4) Drill holes using 0.28” diameter bit.
5) Using a socket wrench, screw in the thread cutting bolt half way and then back it out.
6) Mount Jerry Can Holder to bed using lock washers and button head bolts.

All the below items can be found online at Amazon if not available at your local hardware store.

(Qty) Description
(1) #70 or K Drill Bit Solid Carbide (.028")
(1) Steel Thread Cutting Screw, Hex Washer Head, Type F, 5/16"-18 Thread Size
(4) 5/16-18 x 1/2" Bolts Black Oxide Fully Threaded (button head bolt)
(4) 5/16" Stainless Steel Internal Tooth Star Lock Washers
