It has been a challenging time since a couple of weeks before Easter. It all seems like a blur.
We will lay my dad to rest on Tuesday.
I'm looking forward to some sunny day cruises with my bride to get my soul back into shape.

Might go after a turkey too

So sorry for your loss ,been there .The day after we put DAD in the ground. I jumped on my harley and rode to SOUTH DAKOTA. It was 80 degrees and sunny. I talked to dad and cleared my mind. I left out at 8am. from LAKE STATION ,INDIANA at 4 pm. that evening I was 20 miles from SOUTH DAKOTA state line before I shut her down.
A ride I will never forget .Be strong my brother he is watching over you.

Added bed lights (mounted under trail rails). Had to trim a bit off each side. Tapped into 12 V and ground wire on a Curt 7 pin trailer harness adapter from a prior lighting project.

On/off switch.

Added a Frontrunner rack after a purchase from forum member @njjeepthing . This came with a number of additional components that I didn’t install just yet. Jamie has some other items posted in the marketplace so I’ll mention here that he is a good guy to deal with and was helpful getting me loaded up. Great advice and I am the same way. Anytime I need to clear my head, I jump on my street glide and go for a lengthy ride. Maybe not as lengthy as yours but it helps me as well. Time to yourself to think and process things.

+1 for the shovel... add in some traction boards and the ability to air down the tires. Speaking of tires... not sure those are the best for the beach

Ordered a custom bed stripe from L and B design works and applied them today. Turned out better than I hoped they would.

I'll be putting new tires on next week. I need to decide if I'm going to stick with the 315/75R17s or maybe go cookie cutter..
