Changed the rear diff fluid after mud holes at Windrock. It didn’t look horrible, meaning not chocolate milk, but still happy to change it. I’ll do front this weekend. No metal on the drain plug. Lots of dirt to clean off the diff skid and bottom of diff though :)

this looks awesome. for people that were smart enough to understand how to earn them years ago ( not me lol) have they faded? I'm assuming these are plastic with some type of screen printing on top?

I’d request badges for any you did in the gladiator for sure.
You have to be at the trail, checking in, to qualify to receive the badge. Otherwise, you could just order any/all that you "want". Then, every bling bling mall crawler would be covered in badges.

Im well aware, but it sounds like they might be close enough to do exactly that. And if they’ve done them in that Jeep, honor system applies.

Sorry Dan. I know you know. I was letting @TheSolarWizard know that they can't just request badges without being there. I should have just told them, instead of replying to you. Oopsie

Got off work a little early today and decided to install a Bilstein Stabilizer. That eventually rolled into just also changing the oil and installing a Fumoto valve since it was a nice day and doing it a couple hundred miles early is not going to matter.

Shoutout to @kevman65 for hooking me up with a replacement bracket for the stabilizer.

No worries. I personally have no objection to parking lot checking if someone has already done the trail. I don’t like the person on the leaderboard with all 68 badges, hundreds of checking, and something like 175,000 points. Clearly bs.

Also the badges are vin number specific. Found out from an e-mail I got from them a while back.

I did a trail and forgot to check in. Got to a gas station to fill up. Remembered that I needed to check in. The app wouldn't let me. To get the points. I had to go back to the trail head and check in.

I noticed your running 5w 30 and a different style filter. Curious of the added benefits? My 3.6L Jl leaked around the oil pan and rear main at around 110K just like yours.
I have no clue why people mess with the oil type. High quality synthetic 0w20 is what it calls for. The engineers are smarter than most of us. Expensive oil is cheaper than engines or warranty denials.

Stayed up til midnight connecting, testing, then soldering a head unit harness to an amp harness. Installing an Alpine mini 200 watt amp to drive the new alpine speakers. It sounds amazing. Harness finally done, so tomorrow I can fix this mess. I continuity tested every connection after soldering. All tested fine.

Reorganized the tools and recovery gear so I could access everything easily. It’s the same amount of stuff, but I’m using less bed footprint by going rigid and higher.

This looks great…but the one thing I want to mention is “center of gravity “ is not your four wheeling friend. While going higher helps more bed space, it can sneak up on you side hilling. The focus of loading everything heavy as low as possible in the rig will help…
