I know that feeling all to well. If you do call around auto paint shops will give you a speal on well aluminum takes more to prep... blah blah. When I looked at my fenders they are sanded nicely for paint and Just need to be shot with primer.

Does powder coating match the mopar paint code? My goal is to keep it matching as much as possible. I may try ordering the mopar paint cans and test it out on a rear fender to see if I can diy it. I’m really handy but never done paint haha. Dont mind paying to make it exactly how I want it but it’s nice to save a few dollars haha.

There are 4 bolts on the far side that go through the stock crossbar with big washers on the backside.

Thanks. Makes sense. I went back and forth between the two but couldn't pass up the Black Friday deal they were having. They were very close in price as Weathertech wasn't offering any discount. I also like how easy they are to remove and looking forward to keeping the side of the truck cleaner.
