Well got shit done tonight.

PSA, if your homie, Battle buddy or a close friend/loved one reaches out out of cycle or normal communication cycle......get on it. I've been absent the last few days because of that statement.

My OG Battle buddy from my first duty assignment called me Friday night out of the blue and his verbiage was concerning. He called Friday night and I was on the first flight from BWI to Seattle w/o concern of my actual family. Sorry, not sorry.......I wasn't going to let my brother be a story line on CNN. I no shit dismissed my son's soccer tryouts to ensure my homie was safe and sound.

Thankfully Made it in time and we'll fuck it, all is good.

I don't want pity or shit, just be aware when shit does feel or sound right.........take action.

Well here is my '24 grill install lol. Yes the easy button was unbolt the bumper and slide it out

Installed my DS18 Sound Bar.

Why do these companies make nice products with crappy apps? Love the peoduct hate the basicness of the apps or the use someone else's app.

The ORACLE ColorSHIFT® PRO app is pretty good and I find that it works consistently. The layout is intuitive and easy to use. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and customer feedback like yours helps us do just that.

Most places outsource their app development and go with the cheapest bidder who has zero understanding of the product and probably has a language barrier. Most of these low budget apps are designed by entry level devs and to be used across a broad scope of applications, they are seldom built for that product specifically.

As someone who designs and develops apps I can also say not everyone can envision how a user will interact with or understand a layout. Some devs can only see what makes sense to them and can't comprehend how a non-tech savvy person will see it.

I got mine into a competition
SkyJacker is doing their SkyJacker Madness on Instagram starting today! And somehow, I convinced them to include my JT in the voting! Lots of cool JTs this year, so If anybody would help out; I know I'd appreciate it! Check out SkyJacker's stories on Instagram! Mine is about halfway through, @jt.warthog

Well, I almost have 500 miles on my new Gladiator, and the major mods are done. Last weekend, I installed a new front bumper and a Warn Zeon 12S winch. Unfortunately, the bumper was too heavy for me to lift and install on my own, so had to enlist a little help from the cherry picker and 4 post lift.

After the bumper was installed, winch was pretty easy to install as it can be handled by one person. Routing the cables up to the battery took a little effort to ensure they didn’t contact anything else in the engine bay. The outside cube lights are wired on the original fog light circuit, while the 20 inch light is wired on the first Aux switch.

I was able to use the original Rubicon metal skid front bash guard, as it followed the contour of the Rough Country Tubular front bumper, which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve only been home for 18 days after our winter trip, so making good progress. Majar mods so far:

- AEV 2.5 lift with Teraflex 1 inch front spacer
- Clayton rear track bar to keep spare under the jeep
- front Rough Country track bar (this is only needed because I am running the Baja Boss 37 tires on stock rims)
- Rough Country front bumper
- Hood lift cylinders (had them on my JK and love them)
- front and rear differential skids
- Warn Zeon 12S winch (I alway run the Warn cover to keep water from getting inside the winch)
- Lox Rox chase rack. I’ve always felt that the bed looks orphaned from the cab, so wanted to tie the bed into the cab.
- Trail Rails

Mods still in process:
- custom bed side graphics…still in the design process with the company that will do the work…
- Wire the ARB Twin I brought over from my JK
- Install my low budget rock lights and wire to an Aux switch (I just use 4 cube flood lights from Harbor Freight, and never had a failure)
- Install/Wire a slim light bar on the chase rack
- wire the LED lights in the chase rack into the bed light circuit for better bed lighting
- Finish building the rear seat delete system.
- Purchase/Install belly pan

I’ve had a lot of jeeps since the 1980’s so have a good idea how I want my new Jeep prepped before I make the purchase. The Gladiator is not built for extreme rock crawling like my JK, but it will be able to handle most trails in Moab (we normally spend 3-4 weeks a year in Moab), the Rubicon Trail, Dusy Ershim and all the other no name trails we happen to find during our travels.

Wow….Mine’s been visible for several weeks now. There was an update prior to that, so I automatically assumed ‘Oh, they fixed it’.

Great looking build. Careful on Dusy Ershim. My buddy did it last year in his JLU and said every JT he saw had broken taillights from trees LOL
Well, that trail may be off the list until a take a less lengthy rig first. I’ve wheeled all across the US on a lot of trails, including trails that are no longer open because of wilderness designations or general silliness, so if I never do the Dusy Ershim, I’ve still had a ton of fun wheeling…

Don’t you just push the button on the steering wheel to cycle it on and off?
Technically…that’s how its supposed to work. The CURRENT mpg tends to vanish and you end up with two screens exactly the same.

Have you guys used the left or right button? There are two pages for the MPG display.
Yes….there are… but the Current MPG vanishes completely. You scroll thru the pages and it’s still not there no matter what.
