It was a little off putting, but figured I'd let it slide since there was a Jeep in the background of one of the pictures. Plus I know the ordeal your going through with your Jeep in pieces, so I didn't want to pile on. 😉🤣
It was actually nice to start and finish a project same day. Crazy. And this is my only social media, so…sorry. :)

It's all good as far as I'm concerned.
I get the whole, it's nice to finish a project in a day. Seems like anything more than a basic oil change ends up spiraling.

My wife wanted a receiver on her car for bike racks. Not a Jeep, but what a nice easy install. I’ve not done a 1.5 hour car project I don’t think ever. No clips. Just screws and bolts. No drilling, no hardware even needed. The only “part” I used was some orange thread locker.

Since mines down, something had to hold my skid plate. My wife was less amused than I was. :)

Back to Gladiator stuff…

A friend in the forum, @Jaxmax, texted me to give constructive criticism about my skid bolts sticking out a few days ago. I couldn’t not see it after he said it. The reason I had done it was because the inside holes were square for the provided carriage bolts. But he was right. I changed the hardware for a better solution. The bolts provided were too long anyway. So now 8 of them are button head and shorter. The other 8 are shorter carriages reversed. They’re now just as long as they need to be. The last picture shows how they were before my error was pointed out. Thanks, Jack!

Well I'm finally installing the Rock Slide Engineering steps/sliders.

I have the interior gutted, doing some cable management while I'm in there. I'm also re-engineering the harness because I did not want to run it under the truck.

I will add pics of my chaos later

Well just waiting on my induction bolt heater........not in the fuckin mood to deal with breaking body mount bolts; been meaning to buy on for ages anyways.

So while I wait, door sensors and run the harness (4 plugs through the floor boards.....which won't fit) see image FML. Either depin the connectors or send it via the hole saw.

Harness for power & ground re-engineered and reran all of my accessory harnesses inside the cabin because I'm OCD about cable management

I had thought about that, but then the cable is up on top of the frame along with factory cables, and I didn't want to pass things through the right side of the firewall, so I followed their instructions.

Running it inside, however, has the advantage of the wires running to the door switches being not so damned short when trying to get them where they belong. A couple of them just make it, IMO.

poppa got some new shoes today as we were slippin & slidin at stoney lonesome a few weeks ago. shout out to walmartdotcom as 4- 40x13.50x20 maxxis razr AT hides delivered to to my home for $2009.50. best price i could find. i would recommend the tire shop, my purchase elsewhere was ok with them, but they decided to raise the mount & balance price $20 even though they wrote me a quote 10 days ago. boo!
the other update took a week as the two niilight bumper lights drew more juice than i anticipated. i needed to wait for a second oracle wiring harness for the right side. not a big deal as the right taillight was sitting on the bench after being removed by a tree root while i was wheelin in a creek at stoney. each light puts out 1600 lumens and operates only when in reverse. just what i wanted.

Test fit for the engine/tranny skid, which fit perfectly with no more exhaust clearance issues. The spacer project from a week or two ago worked great. Removed it and made a towards the rear angled hole for oil changes. Drained the oil (short changed), replaced the 65k mile valve with a new one with the longer nipple. New filter and filled it back up.
