Mostly worked today, but got the brakes cleaned up, lubed up, and reinstalled. I know. Easy stuff. And attached the axle side of the track bar so I can start working on the steering changes.

Put the Aev 2” Mojave lift on last night, I’m feeling it this morning. I must be getting old haha. I’ll have to get some pictures today, still have to put the extended Mopar lowers on yet.

Definitely get those on.

I assume half of the pain is due to the fact you have to loosen and retorque literally every single control arm joint, and more, once all parts are in and it's sitting back on the ground. Tough to get to those control arm bolts to torque when it's sitting at the new height, all four planted on the pavement.

I gave her a name and since I live on Florida's Nature Coast famous for skinny water flats, I did a play on Jeep's model;

Weird how my brain works sometimes - phrases or words end up in a totally different direction -

I did that one a while back. It was a fun one. I spent half the first day buying the tools I needed just to be able to work with the bigger bolts and higher torque.
It has worked out very nicely.
I use the Mojave spacer lift so that I could keep the special suspension.

Tire deflators just got delivered. Now the fun part of getting them dialed in and setup.

Use a smaller tire to set the pressure with the deflators. It will save you time. I used the rear tire of my motorcycle to set them. It didn't take that long to fill the tire back up. And another thing. Some valve cores will not work with the deflators. The stem isn't long enough to be pushed open.

Thanks for the tips. First time dealing with set pressure tire deflators.

You're welcome.

I sat on the ground next to the tire with an air gauge, air hose, and 2 pair of pliers. Inflate tire to 30 psi. Screw on deflator and see how much it let out. Fill the tire back up, and try again after making an adjustment. Once I got to the pressure I wanted. I used the pliers to tighten up the lock ring. Then repeat with the other 3 deflators.

I have tire deflators that look exactly like those. I have to reset them at least once a year. They have wandered up to 20 PSI, so it’s time for another reset down to maybe 16 this time.

190 is the number from the lift kits.
Factory spec is actually tighter than that.
Personally, I never use the lift kit specs.
I tighten to the factory spec. When taking my first two apart to swap parts, they were tighter than that 190, and after seeing the factory specs, that's what I use.
