I loved the steering feel with mine, but for the life of me couldn’t figure out clearances.
I played with it for a while. hoping I got it right.

If those red, what look like red painted rock hard, Lca skids stay red, I’ll be so impressed. :) mine are now scratch colored.
I touch them up after a wheeling trip.

This is pretty stupid, but I was bored tonight so I went to remove this from my floor. I don’t take my full top off anymore so I didn’t need this and it gave me a little space on the floor. I walked into my house and thought damn what a waste of small storage. So I grabbed things I need or use on a daily basis like Dude Wipes, deodorant and sunscreen. I would probably not put deodorant in there during the summer, but just in case anyone wanted some extra storage and doesn’t need it for the hardtop bolts. Sorry this will probably be my biggest contribution to the Gladiator community.

Clever. I always wondered why keep the bolts with you if you didn't also carry the top with you. Keep them with the top.

First oil change for the Gladiator is in the books…4,177 miles. It’s nice that the first three are free, but Jeep charges just over $100 for an oil change, so I will take care of number 4 on. My wife is has one more free one on her 2023, then into my shop for future oil changes…

First tire rotation and balance on the 37’s is tomorrow. Trying to do these at the same time so I don’t forget about the tires.

Rotating the 42” tires on the adventure motorhome is less fun, as my lift won’t handle the motorhome so it has to be done sitting on the ground. Fortunately, the adventure motorhome has hydraulic jacks that will lift the motorhome off the ground, but I still have to use a shovel under the tire to lift it slightly get it mounted on the axle…and my wife of 45 years helps get the rotor aligned. We’ve practiced changing a tire ourselves since we spend a lot of time dispersion camping, so need to be able to change a 42 inch tire without help.

when I have to remove the 37 inch tires on the Gladiator, I just pull it on the lift in the shop and I have a tire lift I built using a trailer tongue jack and some angle iron so I don’t have to lift the tires…way too heavy to remove without a mechanical advantage at 66 years young….
