That's a lot of mathin to do. My head hurts just thinking about it.

I'll admit, while I've messed with a lot of drive shafts, I've never messed with one like yours. I've even dealt with 5 single ujoints and 3 carrier bearing in one drive shaft. Or one had a double cardan at each end. But never a single, double, single like yours.
I clearly don’t know it. That’s why I called them. I was actually a hair up (1.2 degrees) before. It was zero with the old shaft. So they said go ahead and lower the pinion several degrees. They said as long as I don’t get a vibration, run it.

Vibs really come in at 88mph.
Yeah, but at 88 the fireworks get really cool!

TRIVIA -
(the stock DeLorean speedometer only went to 85 so had to be modified for the film)

Originally I was gonna do 99mph cause I believe my factory governor is 98mph. But liked the 88mph reference better, also figured more would get it.

Staggered shock are how car companies helped control it years ago. The axle literally winds up, the suspension like a spring, then suddenly unwinds, and starts over. It's not washboard roads that do it. You likely have never experienced it. The only solution when it happens is let off the gas
I haven't experienced in my Gladiator Rubicon. But the Diesel I had was a manual and yes the only solution was to gear down ( manual) and let off the gas and just let it crawl . I was on a few so bad I had to stop put it in 4 wheel drive let the clutch h out in 2nd and just let it eat. There was this one spot for about 200 yards on ten mile rd. In Wetzel County up high that was washboared pretty bad and I always did the same thing in the Gladiator cause it was gravel uphill. ( steep also ) but I digress . Where I work the gas companies keep all the roads graded and stoned due to water bottle trucks having to use them every day or 2 . So typically they are traveled often and in good shape . The last 2 years I have been working on Raw sites directly off of black top . Where we have to make a road with a bull dozer clay mud dirt etc. No stone . I Literally am Off -Road every single day. That's why I have such a live affair with my Gladiator it has proven its worth many times. I have climbed stuff that have made people say I cant believe you made that . I went up a dozer cut road that had water breaks in it so deep the hitch was on the ground and the back wheels off the ground and the front axle spinning dragging the rear up the other side slamming down and then boring through mud for 3/4 of a mile afterwards. ( yeah Im crazy like that 🤪)
Last year I pulled 2 different slopes one was a 20° grade and another was so steep I aint sure of the degree cause it was all in commitment heavy on the GO pedal and no letting off thought it was gonna come back on me for about a 15 foot section. I know I got a screw loose. But the Gladiator held together 🤪🤣😎😬

From my outing at Rausch Creek 2 weeks ago. Finally got around to washing and waxing the JT and finding some trail damage. Right front fender got a nice scratch. The right rear fender got a nice scratch that leads to a small dent in the bed. The right rear tail light got scratches on it too. Applied Cerakote black trim ceramic coating to the fenders. That stuff is amazing. You can barely see the scratches unless you look for them.

Most of the Line-X on the bottom of my White Knuckle sliders is almost gone. Touching it up with rattle can bed liner.

Also was chasing down a CEL that I got at Rausch Creek. The CEL was P206D. It popped up after running through some deep water. Clear it and it would pop up again after going through deep water. Ended up putting dielectrical grease in the 3 plug connections.

Here's the thread on it.

I've been on some of those roads delivering parts to compressor stations.
