Swapped on KMC Roswell’s, 17x8.5 0et. 315/70r17 Goodyear territory MT.
Goal was a light weight 315/70 wheel/tire package with a retro look. Suspension set up is a simple take off rubicon fox shocks, heaviest gas rubicon springs (steel bumper, tow package, hardtop, auto), metalcloak isolator pads, TeraFlex 1.5 front, Daystar .75” rear, mopar lift lca and rock krawler track bar, fox stabilizer.
Have a stock geared 6MT (that happens to have max tow flares swapped on to it). 26lb wheel, 52 pound tire. 78 pounds. Was running 285/70 k02 JL rubicon wheels 21+57. Basically the same weight give or take roughly. It drives well, not really any different than it did with JL rubicon set up. It is much better then expected from what everyone has said about the size on stock 6mt sport gearing. I see many of the other 315/70 tires are much heavier as well as many aftermarket wheels landing heavier too. I can see why.
