Yeah curious if I'll need front spacers after I mount the winch. I dont think so, especially after I add the tent and everything, I suspect it will be fairly level.
I also added a couple of small washers to the steering stops to keep from rubbing, but I have t noticed any issue with turning radius.

I just tested. This is with out anything in the expandable area.

No issues with seat fully forward. If there is a soda bottle in the expandable area and the seat all the way forward the door will not close.
just give it a little more oomph. and wear rain gear.

Another minor tweak. Not sure who thought of this first (Nice wiring diagram!) but thanks for the idea to attach a battery tender via the trailer hitch! Gave it a test, and working great--just hanging out next to my bed divider waiting to be needed.

Nicely done - a bit more tidy than mine. I have the parts to do it like you did, but never did....... I just used adapters.

Great job @johnmn - I do similar thing as you and @ShadowsPapa do. Between my Gladiator and my wife's Wrangler neither of us put on major miles to/from work. So I've been in the routine after the batteries on my 2020 JT began having issues. Right now I toss both on the charger over the weekend for a night.

I have the same 3amp tender. I plug it in almost any time it’s in the garage. No fancy hookups though. Ring terminals to the main battery, to an extended length battery tender pigtail hiding in the driver side cowling. I open the hood and pull the end out a couple inches. The charger is mounted close to the ceiling directly above the cowling.

I had to get by bearing, part of my brain thought Jeep on it's side.

So is there a writeup for this somewhere that I have missed? I wouldn't mind doing this. I always back in my driveway up to the garage door so this would be perfect plus it would give me a project lol.

PS: Don't forget the most important part--a reminder to put on the windshield so you don't drive off with it hooked up! ;)

IMG_9348.JPG
Yea I already thought about that. Would be like those that are riding down the road with a gas hose hanging from their fuel filler neck lol.
