Well, I contacted the dealership and they immediately said it's probably the aux battery. It's covered under warranty they said. I know I can just delete the aux battery, but my fear would be warranty down the road. I know it's going to fail again and if this is actually the problem which I won't know until I let them test it then I guess the question is should I let them replace it or delete it? My main battery is showing 14+.
Let them replace it under warranty, then delete it.

I might go ahead and do that. I'm assuming I need to request them to replace the main battery as well?
The dealerships have a specific specialized battery tester that gives a print out of condition that they have to submit to FCA before getting approval from them before replacing. If the main battery passes this test, it will be on your dime to have it replaced.

Do I have to replace it at same time? Seems to be doing fine and has good voltage at the moment. However, my JL's battery died after about 40K miles and 20 months, but it didn't have the aux battery.

Best practice would be to replace both at the same time but being a 2024, I would not say it is critical and let it ride.

It's a '24 with 17K miles if that matters.
If it were me I’d just skip the dealer replacing it and just remove it. Why waste the time unless you really think the main battery is toast. It’s just going to happen again down the road.

Started the tear down of everything today, it gets the cage started this week. Didn't realize how much dirt and dust was everywhere...

Don't have pictures of it all but -
Removed A Pillar lights and mounts
Took down bullet point mount from dash
Removed Rugged Radio
Took out 60% rear seat delete (other side has my Genesis setup on it and is staying until tomorrow)

This thing will need a good cleaning after we get the rest of the interior torn down

Yes, that's from where the rear seat delete was mounted, one of 'my' side projects while the Jeep is in the shop, I need to clean and finish this, never coated it when it came in -

Leaving the Aluminum deck as is, but all those supports need cleaned and coated.

Retired. Finally !!
I'm new to all things Gladiator, so I'll ask the ignorant questions....

drewcnit - What is that Genesis setup used for ? I've never heard of it, I had to Google it, and from what I can gather is it's an auxiliary battery setup. I assume to run some things while off-road ? Is all that rust caused by off-gassing of the battery ? It appears you lost your back seat for the setup ? To me, that seems extreme to power up some things. To me.

Now, assuming my assumptions are correct (usually never are), wouldn't have been more convenient to just get a portable power station, such as a Bluetti, and a solar panel to do the same thing and leave your interior as factory ?

I fully believe in "Your Jeep, Your Rules", I'm just trying to learn about what you got going on.

Genesis is an auxiliary battery but it’s also much more. It gives you space to install more electronics on your vehicle easier because of the exposed battery terminals and it also acts as a “jumper” battery in case your main battery ever goes dead. Pretty much a plug and play dual battery system that you don’t have to take the time to design and implement all in one clean package. I like the looks of it but don’t think it will work for my build. I want to do that fancy under the hood snorkel system eventually and this gets in the way of that.

I think @Bandit’s Lair answered the Genesis question fairly well below, I use it to power - rock lights, 2 amps, compressor, but it's got a great bus bar, that will also allow me in the future setup to power a 12v outlet and usb ports for charging in the back. I plan on running the Rubicon/Fordyce this year and will need a fridge and way to keep up the power to a Jackery style unit.

Having my own jump battery around is priceless. I left my rock lights on all day, battery drained, flipped the switch, started it. Weather turned cold, drained the starter battery, flipped the switch, jumped it.

For the rest of your questions, I didn't have a use for the back seat and this brings me a flat deck in the back to store gear on -

Which when I have the top and doors on provides some protection/safety for the gear vs. the bed.

**Edit to add - the Genesis set up as designed is an under the rear seat set up for the diesel version of the gladiator. Fully compatible with the gas version by the way. It just didn't fit under the rear seat delete the way I wanted so it got moved up top by me.
