How do digital badges work? They just a downloadable file? That seems kinda…….. different.
Yeah they just get logged on the BOH app. Lame. Ill do one of those trails if im already wheeling in the area or whatever, but not ever going out of my way for them.

They're the NFT's of the BOH program. If you're living in Colorado or Utah, tons of trails clustered, so you'll get them quicker.

Today I took delivery of an ACDelco AGM Gold main battery and an ACDelco AGM Gold Aux battery. it was suggested on here, I can't remember by who, I used my Search Fu skills....

My batteries were just beginning to show signs, such as "Aux Switches unavailable while battery charging". I bought this Gladiator used, so I expected this to happen. It still kicked right over, but before this Jeep I had a Renegade and they are notorious for acting up when the voltage dropped. On the Gladiator, in the morning before I drive, I metered the battery; 12.0 volts. Time to act.

What I didn't expect was the savings from Amazon. I mean considerable. $185.99 for an AGM H7, 850 CCA, 80 AH ?? Everywhere else had them for close to or over $300. Drawback is I have to put it in and this puppy is HEAVY (52 lbs.). The Aux battery is only 11 lbs.

I've decided I'm going to replace both by going over the top; the underneath method for the Aux Battery wouldn't work for me; replacing those plastic fittings will drive me crazy. Pulling the PDC doesn't seem to be that difficult and there is no reaching up, only reaching down. I excel at using gravity.

Right now I have it on a NOCO 1 amp trickle charger, I want to bring it up to 100%. I'm not one of those to let my alternator top it off. I try to use my alternator to maintain, not charge.

Excellent. Just as the system was designed - maintain, not charge, and fully charge before installing.

Nice find on the batteries.

Me - I go through the wheel well - a lot easier sitting than leaning, and I keep hundreds of clips and such around in drawers anyway. I also have one jeep specific assortment. 'I've had the liners out before, several times actually. Once more won't bug me a bit.

Somewhat related to my previous post.... After I replace both batteries, do I need to do a battery registration or will the Jeep figure it out on it's own ? I'd hate to do all this and the IBS still think it has old batteries...

Normally a negative cable pull for 15 minutes resets everything, my typical is 1 hour. But I don't know about this particular vehicle.

Just disconnect the IBS - that means the small network connector on it, and some FCA documents state it takes from 20 to 30 seconds for it to "reset" to the default of 80% and it will "relearn" from there.

A day late but, installed my PRP center console cover. I didn’t take pics but I like it. Fits like a glove and it’s beige. Going tan/beige/light camo on the interior to offset the black outside. Wife got one for her rig and I got one for mine when they were having that sale. Wife said we should have gotten the seat covers for her when she saw the console cover. There’s always next year!!:giggle:

also received wiring and stuff for the air horn install.
No pics, it didn't happen :)

Installed a Kicker HS10 sub. I used a T harness instead of tapping into the B pillar speaker wires. If I did it again, I would have just done the taps. Getting the radio out was a bit more difficult than YouTube makes it seem. I also used the ignition on wire from the interior aux switches for the remote.

Something cosmetic today. I removed the incandescent tail lights and installed OE LEDs with the help of alfaOBD again

More stuff for my wife's JLU. Azuto brand covers for her lift gate, along with a grab handle.

My wife can't reach quite that high, and if we take the new JLU for her, it will be much much worse sticking up even higher, so I'll transfer this I made for her, from her current JLU.....

Changed my air filter. The desert definitely is not kind to filters. Lost my second air box screw into some abyss which I find impossible because it's a straight drop down, but somehow it plinko's down into somewhere to never be found again. Two screws is probably enough, but if I lose another I guess I will have to break down and buy another one.
