Now I dont care what they say that's friggin cool.

It has to be a tuned exhaust. There is a reason why there is that piggytail curly Q on the drivers side while the passenger comes down and crosses over.
In my Humble opinion it takes a cat back dual full length exhaust . And from what I can see is probably the same thing you did the gas tanks in the way.
I think I am going deaf slowly, I could use a slightly louder muffler . I had a dynaflow one time had a real mellow roar to it. . I get annoyed not being able to hear the motor till I get to about 3000rpms.
I would have been happy to pay a shop to do a cat back dual, but as you said, I couldn’t find a good path to the rear. So screw it.

Well if the opening was big enough that they could be ran together then split at the rear it would work. Another thing that would free flow it more is stepping up the exhaust pipe from in front of motor back by ½"

I just couldn’t figure out a different spot to bring the passenger side exhaust over to driver, without crossing under the tranny pan.

Retired. Finally !!
Well, the weather warmed up enough here for me to change out both batteries. I wanted to wait until it was at least 60* F, being 99% of the things I have to remove are plastic and I didn't want to risk snapping/breaking something then having to glue/repair/replace anything.

I went over the top, as opposed to underneath, and to be honest, it wasn't all that bad. Engineering idiocy in design for access to a maintenance part, but it is what it is....

It's apparent that my PDC has never been cracked open before; the modules that that plug in to the fuse panel were NOT letting go. I checked and re-checked those hold down screws at least 6-7 times, they were free. But the modules wouldn't drop. I did the, "I AM gonna win this !!" and pulled a little harder. They all popped free.

I pulled the ever-secretive auxiliary battery out, and I was thankful I had the necessary E6 Torx socket. I pulled the posts and the blanket off the old and installed on the new.

Of course me being me, I cleaned everything up and applied Griot's plastic and rubber protectant on places that will never be seen again for at least 3 years. But she was clean !!

Put it all back together pretty quick now that I'm a Pro, then put the big honker in. That battery is heavy !!

Got in, said a little prayer (insert your deity of choice here), hit ON without the brake pressed, no errors or warnings !! Turned it off, stepped on the brake and hit the button. Fired right up !!

In 3 years I'll copy/paste this post.

Yes. Will be my first regear, I'm flying a buddy in who has some experience to help me out.
I paid someone to help me do my first one when my front failed in 25. Great experience. I’d do it again. But next time I’d pull the axle like you did. On the floor was tough. I highly recommend Revolution. Such great parts, and master install kit. I even bought their gear puller. So nice.

I think I put revolution gears in my TJ. I bought the parts and had a local shop install them. Using all Dana parts this time.

Definitely didn't want to mess around with doing it on the floor.

It was doable. Just tough when putting it in and checking shim thickness. We actually lowered it more so we could rest our elbows on the ground. Thankfully I had it carpeted at the time.

Success. Now that I'm less likely to crush a finger or something, time for a beer.

Yesterday, I got the first glimpse of the Motobilt cage welded up in the JT, no pictures yet, but you can catch a glimpse of it on Facebook.
I went by to work on a project I have in my head and take a couple 3D scans of the front dash and roll cage near the driver -

And also the rear back wall (without the plastic) -

Hopefully I'll get to share some of the final product at some point.

Got the front bumper back from Rhino. Had it and the skid plate coated. Don't have to worry about the powder coat getting chipped and rusting.

The difference between Rhino and LineX. Say Rhino is 36 grit and LineX is 600 grit. My bed lining is LineX. Wanted LineX, but the closest one was over 2.5 hrs away.
