Just replaced the coolant tank on my '24 with only 13k miles on it. I am less than impressed. Tank split at the seam. Was more worth my time to replace it myself than take it in under warranty.
Actually attempted to purchase a new tank the other day but the website kept booting me so I said screw it and didn’t. Guess the internet does save me money on rare occasions. :CWL: I’ll get er done one of these days.

I got it through Amazon for $54. OEM part. I'll likely move to the aftermarket Aluminum version once the warranty goes out on the truck.

I still have about 30k on an aftermarket warranty and nothing wrong with my reservoir but I really don’t want to have to take the Jeep into a dealer in SoCal if I don’t have to. No idea what wait times are down here but with the number of Jeeps on the road I can imagine it’s insanity.

Yeah that tank is definately an easy way to be on the side of the road. This is mainly my Wife's rig and I travel for work frequently. Maybe I can sleep at night for another 13k miles or so.

Depends where you go. My warranty has long expired but when ever I needed warranty work done I’d take my jeep to Tuttle Chrysler in Irvine. They were pretty good with the work.

What I'm doing to the JT? Putting a few miles on it. Just a short trip. Going from south of Pittsburgh to Eads Colorado for a funeral. From there to Branson Missouri for the family reunion. Then back home. Left today. Should be back home on the 22nd.

Yes he rolls around under the seat there when he is unrestrained, especially around corners! Will fit in the tray nicely.

(I’m joking. šŸ˜‹)
Well people have trail dogs and trail cats. Guess a trail trutle isn’t too far of a stretch.

Last weekend, finished with my project of putting 35s on my Mojave. Bought the Mopar beadlocks last fall. Had the rings powder coated to match with the help of Prismatic Powders. Local shop Powder Plus in C.F. was nice to work with. Have two colors that match Gobi with one a slight shade darker and went with that one. Finally decided on the tires. Went with the Toyo AT3 35" x 11.5". Had to go back to Discount Tires and take out the Mopar TPMS sensors that I ordered. Two went dead within a week. So went with Discount's sensors and had them swapped out. Completely quiet compared to the Falkens on blacktop. Watching the computer and it looks like just a small hit to MPG. Still hit 8th gear plenty on the highway. The Mojave rides even nicer than before. Wife wants to drive it to work now that the howling Falkens are not on.
