What does this scroller do!?

Sorry, that's very wrong. Please read the first page of this thread.
Over a year and still no one reads the manual...
(Also is answered in several places besides this thread) =

right dial is for the dash/cluster/center display brightness,
LEFT dial is for accent lighting brightness. If you don't have accent lighting, you won't see much of anything change.
There is No timer controlled by dials.

It's the PDF version of the owner book on Page 48

I should have worded it not "you won't see much of anything change" but "you may not see anything change...."

You got the Skrillex package....turn that bad boy on all they way....drops the bass and you get a rave in your Jeep.

I can't seem to figure out what exactly this scroller changes. Any ideas? It's the scroller next to the dashboard display brightness scroller.

There are probably a couple of lights, behind the door handles. My Sport S has them.
But you need a flashlight to see if they're on...

One wheel is brightness of interior lights. One is timer for how long the dome & headlights stay on after door is shut or lock button pushed on the keyfob.

You can adjust the timeout in the menu.
