What garage lift are you using?

Thinking about adding a clear floor lift to my barn to make working on things easier. I have about 12' of ceiling height.

What lift are you guys running? Tips and tricks?

I'm sure most lifts recommend 6"+ of concrete, and I highly doubt my barn floor (built before I bought it) has anything more than 4". My plan was to acquire some street plating to place underneath the columns to spread out the load.

Thoughts?

I don’t have the luxury of the height required for a two or four post.
currently using a quick jack that works really well for my purposes.

Current house does not have the ceiling height I wanted... so I have been using a MaxJax

You do not have that problem... I would go with a two-post asymmetric lift... That is what I am doing in the new house. Can't wait to finalize the move...

I would cut the concrete squares or circles where the posts go and pour thicker concrete.

Single post lift. I like that I can move it out of the way when not in use.
