What is an unpopular opinion you have in the Jeep community?

My buddy used the same argument, until his tow rig had the parts failure in Utah. Had to rent a truck and trailer to get his truck home and enlist another buddy with a truck to get his trailer and Jeep back. Parts do fail, and you're just adding more potential failures to the list.

yeah but multiplies greatly when your bouncing and grinding on rocks lol. I've seen plenty of brake down at the parks by my house and it makes for a long day to go it tow rigs.

Agreed, that's where the work is. Uhaul truck and a tow dolly will get me home if need be.
