Looks like a vent hose , it might be connected to the front Differential

It is the transmission vent. Why Jeep runs it up onto the engine, yet ends other vent tubes under the body, is a question for the engineers. It probably has something to do with the expansion of transmission fluid when heated.

Its were you hook up the Jet Fuel or Nitrous

You pull the yellow cap off and connect the hose to your oil catch can.

Plus I read on the JL forum today they discontinued it in 22. So that’s probably why it’s not there…
I remember it almost being forgotten for my JK and never really took notice if it existed with my JT.
