How heavy is the Revolver cover? I’ll be doing a lot of towing so I am trying to be careful on adding weight. The best I can guess from website information is about 70lbs. I was hoping it was lighter. What do you think?
My Sport S is for towing also and I am anal about adding weight. 72 pounds added to your payload is the number. That is about the lightest I could find with decent security and quality.

That is a good question. I couldn't say with a lot of accuracy, but rough estimates would be closer to 50 than 70. The rails were perhaps 3-5lbs each, and the rolled up cover maybe 30-40 lbs. My arms are not well calibrated. :)

What accessories or bars do you know can be used with the x4s t track? I have the x4s, but keep getting vague answers from vendors on what will work with the tracks. Even Bakflip is not helpful. You would think with their product they would have a line of things that would work with the t tracks, otherwise why have them? I do not want those high cross bars.
T-tracks are a lot like a Lego piece, asking what it works with is a hugely open ended question and really depends on what the end result is. On one end of the spectrum is t-slot extrusion DIY like 8020. In the middle I have seen both RhinoRacks and Yakima cross bar mounts connected to t-slot tracks. Both of those companies have a ton of things to attach to their mounts. On the other end of the spectrum would be racks/risers specifically designed just for the X4S. I doubt you will find many, if any, companies advertising specifically for compatibility with this, however that doesn't mean they don't have it. I've seen a kit for the X4S from RhinoRack on a JT on this forum but it isn't listed on their website. This just requires talking to their customer service and they can put together what you need. RhinoRack just happens to be a company i'm familiar with from my JK, there are likely others like them that can send you a version with bases that can connect to a T track instead of brackets to attach to the utility tracks for example. Sorry I can't be more specific with products.

Great thread! We used 8020 hardware for a High School robotics team and I was thinking it could be adapted for a rack. You did a great job. If I wanted to support an 80lb kayak with vertical rails tall enough to clear the cab would your set up be strong enough? Or would you suggest adding braces between the front and rear bars?

At full height I'd probably opt for the larger corner backets where it mounts to the rail (the ones that use 2 bolts per side instead of 1). Potentially you could also move up to 1530 extrusion to be really sure, but that's a pretty big jump in cost.

I'm likely going to eventually try out a full height setup (with larger corner brackets) with 1515 but that won't be until I have an actual need for it.

KB Voodoo can adapt their crossbars and bed racks to fit the rail system on the Revolver x4s as well. That was one of the covers I was considering when working with them on my set up.
