What was your favorite Jeep (other than the JT)?

I'll echo some others here and say my '04 WJ Grand Cherokee. On paper, it's the perfect Jeep: solid axles, 4 doors, V8, QuadraDrive, 6500lbs towing

My 2000 Cherokee 4x4 inline 4.0L engine was my all time favorite; it had the factory Up Country package which included a one inch lift. In 2005, with only 55,000 miles, it was totaled when a brainless driver ran a red light.

2005 LJ (Wrangler Unlimited when they were 2-door).

Had less than 50K miles on it. Kept it in the garage in winter. Never put the top on.

Sold it to partially fund the Gladiator.

Also a 1985 Cherokee and a 1992 YJ.

'74 CJ5 up around 6 inches on 36's and painted cow. Even had the horn that mooo'd. The short wheelbase, super steep driveshaft angles, and low power made it useless to even try to do anything more aggressive than a dirt road, but it was a fun cruiser.

I’ve had 2 1995 YJ’s but I think favorite Jeep in the family was a 89 XJ limited that my brother had. Don’t know why I liked it so much but it was great.

A couple of old favorites I had in the early to mid ‘80s. A ‘67 Wagoneer (6 cyl, “3 on the tree”) and a 62 CJ3-B.

Fav has to be my 06 LJ had it since it had .7 miles on her.

Rowing the gears in a small Jeep on a good trail is just…..cathartic.
