Nice! Back in the day I had a 74 Scout. It had the 345ci V8 bus engine and manual transmission. Damn thing got 10 mpg no matter how I drove it but would go anywhere.1978 International Scout. Restored it myself. Was my daily driver.
You should get a discount on your insurance for being so visible. I mean if someone runs into you, they must be texting.Just traded the yellow 2015 JK for 2021 Gecko JT behind it. The little lizard looks so small, but already have lift, 35's, bumpers, and side steps on the way.
80 or 90?A Genesis. Miss the v8 power but really love the jeep more. Would have kept the Genesis if i had space for it
yep. Dude was my age. Was going to use it to drive 800 yards to the beach with his surfboards. He took last year off because of Covid. Needless to say, family has a little bit of money. He’s traveled the world in electronic bands playing drums lol. He and his wife “started” 6 yoga locations at once in nyc. He’s lived the exact opposite life as I have. The amazing thing is, he is a down to earth guy and we get along really well. Hetexts me often and tellsme some of the things he’s done to the scout. And does all the work himself. I miss the scout but the only vehicle I’ve ever wanted more was a gladiator. I wouldn’t be able to afford one if Ididnt build and sell the scout. So now I have my dream jeep and selling the scout almost paid for the gladiator completely. My son will get the gladiator when he’s 16 if I still have it. I will probably buy a 2 door wrangler and start another build then. That was the 3rd scout I have built so im sure I will do it again.Beautiful Scout! 10-15 years ago it might have been shipped to Staten Island, now you need to be in the Hamptons to buy a good one!
