Those are just the stock Rubicon wheels that come on the JT, don‘t have a part number though.

Yup... that's just the stock rims mine came on. Got rid of them in the first week. You can probably find some fairly cheap on e-bay.

Seems odd the dealer would put a 12.5” wide tire on a 7.5” wide wheel?

You seem to be implying that the average dealerships interests extend beyond the sale of a vehicle.

Personal experience says that while that may in fact be true, those dealerships are in the vast minority.

I would think so, but I know some people do. I would think it would affect the lateral stabilization of it.

You would think, from a liability standpoint, they would put a tire size in spec with the wheel. What i will say is , i looked at this wheel really close, and it did not appear to be crowning or have side bulge, indicating at least an 8.5” wide wheel. But I can’t find any on the mopar site that matches up?

Correct. While tire manufacturers do not recommend mounting a 12.5-inch wide tire on a wheel less than 8.5 inches wide, some tire retailers will still do it.

You will most likely need wheel spacers for that combination to not rub.

They are 7.5 wide. I ran a 315x75r17 on the stock rubi wheels and know others who run 37x12.50 on them as well. Usually have to run lower pressure then recommended especially on an E range tire. Some see uneven wear while some are fine. Even knew a guy who kept his off roading tires on stock wheels because he was convinced, that at low pressure, the tires stayed on the narrower wheels more reliably..... I'm not advocating doing this but I was unable to find any info about a tire coming off the wheel or causing a dangerous situation. Just the possibility or likelihood of uneven wear.

Stock on my 2021 JT Rubicon. 35/12.50 Bfg KM3 no problem, no rubbing even before I added Mopar lift.

IMHO, the best looking stock wheel in the entire lineup! Got a set of take offs for my Sport S the first week of ownership.

I kno Patagonia 37x12.5x17 can be run on 7.5 width. It their min recommended. Got on my sport wheels. They're holding very well. Even aired down to 15 psi offloading one day, doing donuts in dirt, no issue.

Milestar approved rim width for 37/1250R17 Patagonia #22050500 is 8.5-11.00 according to their site, which is consistent with all manufacturers in that size.

People do it all the time, but that doesn't make it right.
