I was just curious what the best drop in filter for the 3.6 ? Since I've been seeing lots of posts saying that CAI are a waste of $. Is the Mopar or K&N a good choice. Or which one is better?

Thank you much for info. But when i looked link it said this does not fit your 2021 Mojave. I'll try to look it up again later. If you are looking for a highly rated/regarded, DRY (dry is preferred... do avoid oiled) cleanable, replacement filter element for the JT/JL do consider this filter. The company also has a cone shaped offering if you want a cone..

Every forum has these posts. You will never have a problem with a PROPERLY oiled filter. So out of the box K&N drop in works just fine. They've sold hundreds of thousands of them over the decades.Nothing with oil that's for sure. Unless you also enjoy MAF problems.
Disagree. I had a factory oiled K&N on a new Harley with an S&S carb. I decided to rejet it around 2000 miles and when I took the filter off you could see a perfect line of oil and dirt coming from the filter going through the carb. I threw it away and never bought another.Every forum has these posts. You will never have a problem with a PROPERLY oiled filter. So out of the box K&N drop in works just fine.
