…that’s 3.75 on a 7.5 inch whose wheel. I’d he’s purchasing new wheels I’d go no thinner than 8.5, which would make by a 0-offset 4.25. Again…lift manufacturers say 4.5 to 4.75.
Did you mean to quote me?
I wasn’t a proponent of -18 offset.
0 offset on an 8.5” wheel is about 4.75” backspace. The backspace changes for a given offset depending on the wheel width. So for OP a wider aftermarket wheel for the same offset will stick out a smidge further and also have more backspace or be closer to the suspension components. 0 offset or 4.75” backspace or whatever should be fine for most lifts with 37s.
If he picks a wider wheel with a little more positive offset so it would stick out the exact same amount as his thinner OEM wheels on spacers, then the inner rim would pushed in a little closer to the suspension, though not sure if that would matter at all as mentioned with the AEV wheels.
He’s already running 37s so I bet 0 offset wouldn’t be noticeable.

I looked at that calculator @MrFahrenheitposted about 100 times before looking at wheels and tire combos. Helped me a lot.

LMAO…yep. Been a long day. Don’t know if I fat fingered the reply or not, but your info seems straight.
