Does anyone have the cheat sheet on extended shock length limits before longer brake lines are needed? Im not being lazy but we are having single digit temps so im looking to tinker right now.
I just had some 11.6” travel fronts show up and im contemplating the cost/benefit analysis of what to do in the rear.

The fronts should work with up to a 29.5” shock (although you will probably need a new drive shaft just short of that). The rears will work with up to a 28” shock.

When I installed the 2-inch spacer lift on my Mojave I had to disconnect the brake lines from the frame to get the axle low enough to place the spacers, and they were at full stretch. My understanding is the Mojave is a 2/1 lift over base, and the spacer lift gives me a 4/3 total lift without issues. I imagine if you intend to lift over 5-6 inches you would be considering extended brake lines.

EDIT: Just realized I didn't answer your actual question. My bad!

Oddly, I have a front 1310 shaft for a JK sitting in my garage that I’m ~95% sure will work. I don’t love the idea of downgrading to a 1310 but in this instance, the FAD makes me less concerned.

28” for the rear sounds less than optimal. If the stock travel extended length is 25.75 and I’m running 2” stock extensions, im already up against that number.
Thanks for the feedback

I have metalcloak's setup and my fronts are fine at full droop with a 30" shock and a little re-routing and the rears were just slightly tensioned with a 28" shock.

The JK and JT/JL CV joints look the same, but are different sizes. I actually compared them when a friend’s JK front driveshaft needed replacement. The JL/JT t-case joint is larger.

Ok. I guess I’m going to have to find out the hard way. Mine is a spicer and I thought I found part#s that matched and this seemed telling but could definitely be me under thinking.

If you have the transfer case yoke that comes with that driveshaft you will be fine.

That looks almost exactly like my 1350 Spicer shaft other than a larger cardan joint. I think they're all 32 spline so you're probably good if you're replacing the yoke.

Dunno if yours came attached but that dust shield needs to be seated further down... mine came completely fubar and I had to install a new one.

Good to hear. My dust shield was jacked as well. I tried to reform it the best I could but yeah, it looks like it had slid up in that pic

Yeah the packaging on those shafts is complete crap so mine was folded up. Made a quick call to Northridge who had one sent my way. Just had to use a cutoff to remove the banged up one and a pipe to install a new one.
