I just installed a MC 3.5” True Dual rate lift kit and had 37” Patagonia mounted a week prior. Took it to Firestone for an alignment and they wouldn’t do it because it is too wide for their rack. Firestone did my alignment years ago on my JKR with same lift and 35’s and same wheels. Anyone having issues finding a shop to do their alignment with 37’s?

If you have a BestOne Tire in your area try them.

The one close to me has a rack big enough for RV's.

Thanks, after some calling around, found an independent shop that said they could do it. Just disappointed, I wanted the Firestone lifetime alignment.

Some shops won't do anything bigger than a 1/2 ton truck. Their rack/shop is not big enough.

The Firestone I went to was concerned because my tires wouldn't sit fully on their rack. They thought it was a safety issue.

My garage. I took it to the dealer and they set it terribly. They had the lower control arms set about an in longer one side than the other. Terrible. Pretty easy just time consuming if you have all 8 arms.

The kit I installed is just adjustable upper control arms...I have caster pretty well set already. Just need to center the steering wheel and set the toe. I have never done it, but thinking about watching some YouTube and seeing if I can get it close over the weekend. But I did find a local shop that will do it and I have an appointment scheduled for Tuesday.

Which is odd because I've worked several alignment shops and every rack setup was big enough to handle a dually even if the rack couldn't actually lift it. Most alignment systems require their racks and I can't say I've seen one that wasn't wide enough for a SRW 1 ton.

Steering wheel is the easiest part of an alignment, just loosen the nut on the drag link and then just turn the adjustment part you will see the steering wheel start to turn fairly quickly. Toe is more complicated but not by much it’s easy to miss the mark.
