No, that's not the point at all - I just said they don't do that sort of thing any more with me, and joked with the picture.
I know nothing was a personal attack, just saying how very different my experiences have been.

My problem is that after I'm done chopping up ("customizing") and abusing a car for a few years, no dealership wants to accept it in a trade-in. lol my only option is private party goobers.

Yes, I can't ever recall selling any car I have ever owned to someone I know or relative. It's not worth it to me.

First, they typically want it for a very low price and expect it to be in A1 condition. Then, if anything goes wrong shortly after the sale, how do you handle or explain it?

I would rather just sell it to Carvana, Carmax or trade it in and not think about it again.
