Looking at ordering a 26' Mojave. Actually ordered it last week but no VIN# yet so still time to change my mind. Kinda up in the air with interior. I've had leather in the past and found them to be hot and sweaty even in the great white north. So kinda leaning towards the bolstered Cloth but heated for those winter months. Thoughts?

I do miss my heated steats and steering wheel from my diesel overland days. Thinking to facatory order to replace my 24 Sport and want those heated group. Wish we had more katzskin custom options from factory.

My opinion... i prefer cloth. I live where its 120* F in the summer, and leather is deathly hot unless you wanna just remote start ac all the time.
Also, winter... now you have ice cold seats that feel frosty. cloth is like sitting on cold jeans.

main reason id go leather, is if you deal with a lot of muddy shirts/pets and need easier to wipe off seating.

also, if this is a 5 year plus keeper... look at used cars with leather, more than half look like assss.

25 mojave here. cloth.

Leather is way easier to clean. Just a quick wipedown with a damp cloth versus dirt which permeates the fabric.
Easier to keep clean for sure.

Leather. Combo of dust and my dog. I do regret my choice in black leather seats every summer. I bought it in winter and didn’t even think about it. If I could do it over again, it would be the light colored leather option.

If I have the choice, I go for leather.

Cloth, but with seat covers. I wear shorts even in the winter and leather is too cold. It's also too slippery for my dog. The best seats I've ever had were the Softex seats in 4 Runners. Some of them look brand new a decade later.

The slipping forward I fixed with Seat Jackers.
