Unless you know something beyond what they advertise on the website...Livernois says they can unlock the newer PCM, for a price.
Procharger will sell you a "tuner" kit that places the burden on you to unlock your GEPC5 computer, which is still impossible (I think)Livernois says they can unlock the newer PCM, for a price.

I just checked the Livernois website. They show that they do not support the newer GPEC5 ECM. They are now offering a mailable GEPC2 unlocking service (Before this you had to send your ECM to them to unlock.)
VERIFY everything before you start buying.Lookin good Kevman - I just emailed Procharger from their website for a detailed description of the tuning process - on their website they say tuning included completely turnkey on the 24 Gladdy
Regearing for power is a myth. It does nothing that a downshift won't aside from 1st gear. With our 4.7-1 1st gear in the 8 speed none of us are lacking there. We have the same 1st gear ratio with factory 4.10s as a late model JK auto with 5.13s or an early JK or TJ or XJ auto with 6.73s. Yet thousands of us wheeled and drove those rigs through the same trails with maybe 4.56s or 4.88s on 35s-37s. Wanna know how your Jeep will drive with 5.13s? Downshift. 5.13s in 8th is the same final drive ratio as 4.10s in 7th. No it doesn't feel at all like it's got an extra 100hp no matter how many times you downshift. If that worked we'd all just drive around in low range.you seem to be interested in increasing functional power while decreasing fuel economy... have you considered regearing? hell of a lot cheaper than a supercharger, and significantly less likely to blow up your motor. Plus it saves you from needing premium fuel.
11.3:1 is not a good ratio to start adding boost to without switching to forged internals. There's plenty of horror stories round these parts (some good ones too).

Tuning is tuning. Cracking the encryption was the hard part. Now that they've done that there's no "guinea pig". The tuning isn't different between gpec2 or gpec5.VERIFY everything before you start buying.
There were multiple problems even with the GPEC2, you don't want to be the guinea pig for GPEC5.

What I thought when reading it. It clearly shows a picture of the GPEC2A on the unlocking page, no -5 noted. Personally, with the rolling key thing, I am wondering how anyone could unlock the GPEC5 units.Dig a little deeper still...

Under required options is says you must verify via picture that you have the GPEC2A. It seems retarded that they don't know that nobody with a 2023 and up has the 2A and they are getting our hopes up for nothing.
I know HP tuners allegedly has from people who spoke to them at Sema but I've yet to see anything come to market from anyone. What I thought when reading it. I will call Livernois Monday just to be sure, but I am strongly suspicious of anyone having unlocked the newer spec ECM's
