Hello everyone,
Can I ask for your opinion on which personalized license plate slogan would be the coolest for my 2021 Gladiator, please? I narrowed it down to two options:
A. GLADI
B. GLADIUS

What do you think? Please pick one and let me know why. Thank you in advance.

I don't mean to be snarky, but why do people feel the need to spend the money (typically annually) on a vanity plate and then put the make/model of the vehicle, which is typically plastered all over the vehicle, on the vanity plate as well? You've already paid FCA upwards of $50K to put Jeep, Gladiator and Rubicon all over the vehicle. Put something on the vanity plate that personalizes it to you...

Example: My plate reads VNIVDVC or "Veni, Vidi Vici" or "I came, I saw, I Conquered" which is the message that Caesar sent back to the Roman Senate after he defeated Pharnaces II in an underdog battle to regain one of the Roman provinces. So the implication would be that as I encounter obstacles when wheeling, I come upon them, see them and conquer them.

Heck...you're in Canada...take that plate name

Good point and I like your plate idea. I think I will use it somehow :) You are also relating to the Gladiator theme. Note Gladius means sword in Latin. For me, it's mostly about two things. Having a nickname for the truck AND so that I can remember my plate when I need to. I agree with you that some people have obsessive brand loyalty. This is certainly true for Jeep owners on the basic level. On a higher level though, Jeep's name comes from a nickname for a military vehicle (and a lot of history) and not the other way around (from a brand). To me, Gladi is just a nickname that comes from the label. i.e. Rubi, Yoda (for Toyota), 9JJJ9. Note that all those names have a double meaning.
