Hi,

I'll be regearing my axles, hence, will add two lockers.

Now I saw lots of complaining on EATON ELocker, especially after 2020-21 on newer lockers, like they break, a lot more.

Due to that I saw lots of people advising Air-lockers, and I saw some people voicing for OX lockers (really liked, but I'm not there on OX, have my doubts due to their locking mechanism that depends on differential cover)

So Which one should I go for ELocker or Air Locker?

I am asking you, fellows, to understand the pros and cons and make up my mind. Please provide me with your feedback and experiences so I can decide.

Either one I'll have to poke a whole in the housing, just don't want to have to switch later on.

ARB all the way!!!!! Back in my younger years, we had front & rear ARB’s in our YJ (Dana 44’s / 4.56’s). There’s nothing more satisfying then pressing that button (or buttons) while you’re in the middle of an obstacle (wheels turning). They engage immediately and you’re climbing again. Nothing more satisfying than hearing that Psssss when you disengage. 😎

People often complain about the lines leaking…. We had them for 10 years and never had any problems. It’s all about proper installation and how you run the lines. Along with that… We had an on-board air setup in the engine bay (A/C compressor) and a tank mounted under the back seat. Awesome setup for airing up your tires at the end of the day.
