Oddly specific question...my Rubicon has the window switches, 12V outlet, and USB ports on the back of the center console. Does anybody know which color wire I could tap into that would dim when I turn down the interior lights? One of them must, the lights on the USB ports do.

My multimeter died or I'd test 'til I found one. Was hoping someone knew off hand...Green and white is often a dimmer switch wire color I believe, but there isn't one in the center console.

Thanks in advance.

Modern vehicles don't use standard "dimming" circuits anymore, they utilize the CANBUS and/or PWM control. Older vehicles used a variable Positive (or sometimes negative) to control 12v lighting.

Sorry if that isn't helpful.
