Has anyone experienced whining or groaning sounds, when turning the steering wheel stopped or at low speeds, after installing the synergy sector shaft and track bar brace?

+1 for being disappointed after reading past the title.
I thought it was another thread about the big fob or doors not opening far enough, or GG cracking as far as whining and groaning.

Ensure you are greasing the race with proper grease, also i used a graphite based dry lubricant on the bolt through the eyelet of the track bar.

^^

Since he has the brace, and I learned it's not a "bearing" in that respect but a bronze (oil impregnated??) bushing, yeah, what he said.

The Synergy uses a greased needle bearing design.
I've seen install photos of some that appear to fit the sector shaft at a poorly canted angle, rather than squared to the axis of the shaft. Could be something there if it's not squared up correctly.

i have an early Synergy brace and it groans when it needs grease. In my experience, A creaking kind of sound is usually caused by suspension or steering box bolts that need to be re-torqued.

Turns out that the installer (broke my leg in an accident in August) didn't torque anything. They installed a lift, through shaft, and the brace. Nothing was torqued properly, rear track bar was installed backwards, and the bronze bushing wasn't greased properly on the brace...

Truck still pulls hard to the right, so I will begin locating a reputable alignment shop near me...thanks for everyone's input. I guess it's true, if you want it done right, do it yourself. I should've waited until I was healed and done it myself...
