who is getting the bluetooth speaker?

Hmmm.... Thinking I may have a bad speaker. I can get it to turn on and my phone sees a "Jeep Speaker" device, but it won't pair. I think the speaker keeps turning itself off.

Is the tiny, white light on the front of the speaker supposed to stay on if the speaker is powered on?

UPDATE: OK, it finally paired. After failing again and again, I selected "Forget Device" for the Jeep Speaker on my phone. I tried again and "Jeep Speaker" eventually reappeared and then it paired.

Seems to be a fickle device, but the sound is pretty good for a single speaker in a thin cabinet. Definitely MUCH better than a speaker phone!

No, the white light just flashes a couple of times and doesn't stay ON. I just pulled my speaker out and it automatically paired with my phone after I powered it up since I had it paired before and it started playing fine from Spotify...

Pressing the reset button worked for me. It powers on now. But the reset didn’t forget my phone. Odd.

I just bought a fully loaded Mojave. To my suprise, no frikin speaker! You'd think that would come on all models. Doesn't have the charging ports either. I wonder how hard it would be to install the charge ports?

My feeling is it is overpriced for what it is and takes up prime space behind the seat. I can pick up a kick ass one for under $100 that if something happens to it I'm not having to re buy the same old tech when I have to re buy.

Found a PDF version of the JT manual online. Followed the pairing steps precisely with two different iPhones (7 and 8 Plus). Still, no luck getting it to pair. Has anyone else got it to work?

Its doesnt aound good and it doesnt last long. . I wish it could blue tooth from the jeep satellite radio. Would be nice

Yah, I was doing things right. Ended up being an issue with the speaker. Jeep replaced it and it works like a charm. ??
